Li-Fi works as a visible light communication system.

Its speed is many times faster than Wi-Fi, which works through radio waves.
However, this process is not visible to the naked eye.
Wi-Fi technology was introduced for the first time in 1996.
In recent years, Wi-Fi 6, 6E, and now Wi-Fi 7 standards have been introduced.
Li-Fi technology is faster compared to Wi-Fi.
According to the Li-Fi group, this technology also greatly improves security.
A spokesperson said that because Li-Fi signals are limited to the area where the bulb is shining,
and since light cannot pass through walls, the risk of unauthorized access is minimal.
According to research, Li-Fi speeds can reach up to 224,000 megabits per second,
which makes it ideal for virtual reality, 4K streaming, and online gaming.
Its low latency also makes it better than Wi-Fi.

Oledcomm predicts that commercial availability of Li-Fi could happen anytime between 2025 and 2029.
